Customer Reviews

Buy this tool!5
I think this is the first review I have ever written but I just had to let everyone know how good this tool really is. I have run 1,000 screws through it without a single foul (except when I tried to screw through a nail-on plate). Really this tool is amazing from all angles. It loads easy, screws into tight corners, is light weight and did I mention that it drives straight and tight each time.
I have only one other "Auto-Feed" drywall gun (an older model Makita) and several drywall screw guns (Dewalt, PC, Makita) and they are all going into retirement now that I have this new Tyrex.
It all came about when I was so frustrated with the auto-feeder that always acted like it was drunk with every other screw wanting to blow-out or somehow get screwed-up (pardon the pun). I was ready to buy the Senco product but wanted some assurance that it was going to do what I need so I called them and after a lengthy discussion they told me that they had started an off-shoot company geared more for the professionals called TYREX and that I should look at them.
Although I am not a professional drywall hanger I try to buy tools that work for me with the least amount of frustration. I have a fair collection of tools that I thought I needed only to find that they didn't perform as promised. Just another reason why I wanted everyone to know that they should buy this tool.
