The Klegg NetDisk has revolutionary Ximeta NDAS technology to allow direct connection to any network without the need for IP configurations. PDA, networked DVD players and other NDAS compatible systems can also share the same network storage without performance loss. NDAS software features allow Mirroring (RAID 1), Aggregation or RAID 0. The sleek and portable design is the size of a small book and weighs only 3 pounds, making it easy to unplug, pack and go. The Klegg NetDisk is the central storage unit to store Movies, Music, Photos and Data so you can directly access it from an optional Klegg Media Center TV. Each NetDisk has a unique hardware ID and access keycodes which allow you to specify which computer users have read and write access, read access only or even no access to NetDisk even while its connected on the same network. Eliminates the need for complicated settings or further configurations such as TCP/IP or DHCP. NetDisk is encased in a dual-frame aluminum, heat-sink construction for approved strength and stability. A resourceful heat transfer system dispels high temperatures to the outside surface and efficiently protects the data within.
