At the bottom they are labeled in French "Ete, Printemps, Automne, Hiver" (Summer, Spring, Autumn, Winter). This framed poster measures approx. 24" x 36" Alfons Maria Mucha (or Alphonse Mucha) (July 24, 1860July 14, 1939) was a Czech Art Nouveau painter and decorative artist. His paintings, posters, advertisements, and book illustrations were what came to be known as the Art Nouveau style. Mucha's works frequently featured beautiful healthy young women in flowing vaguely Neoclassical looking robes, often surrounded by lush flowers which sometimes formed haloes behind the women's heads.
