Product Description

Sensitive Plant is an easy to grow house plant that snaps it's leaves shut when touched! You will not believe this plant. It acts more like an animal than a plant. Plus it has beautiful, pink, silky flowers. Attractive, bright green leaves are outlined by burgundy borders. Grow on a bright window in a 4" pot. Grows 6-12 inches tall. Proper name: Mimosa pudica

Customer Reviews

If you hate customer service...1
...Hirt's is the vendor for you. Avoid this seller unless you are seeking terrible, non-responsive customer service and unacceptable product quality. Many seeds I ordered never sprouted. One plant arrived near death, another was omitted from the order altogether.

In spite of over half a dozen emails to customer service, no one has ever responded. Plants spouted (one of the few that did).

The Good and the Bad3
All the seeds that I planted have sprouted however within the first 2 weeks they all died before any real leaves started to grow.

I have looked very carefully for directions on the internet on how to grow these and I'm following every guideline and even tried not following the guidelines to grow these and still no luck.

Probably won't bother with these again since they don't live longer than 2 weeks no matter what I try to keep them alive.

didn't grow1
I got these for my daughter and I to plant together so that they would be ready by the time her birthday came, so that we could give them as party favors. We were so excited to plant them and only ONE sprouted, and then died. We have several plants at home so it's not as though we can't grow anything. We must have gotten a bad batch of seeds....My daughter is very disappointed.
