This design needs help
This feeder design collects water, sprouting the lower layer of seeds in the feeder. Drainage holes must be drilled by the purchaser to make this unit functional. The holes for the seed are easily plugged, requiring frequent maintanence. For the money, there are better feeders out there. This one is pretty, but a big disappointment.

Adorable feeder but.....
This bird feeder is adorable but poorly designed. Looks like it would be easy to fill, but I think the glass is for a lampshade so there is only a small inch and a half hole on top. You can only fill it using a funnel - spilling half the seed each time your funnel shifts position. And I guess the birds in Denver don't like bird houses - after 3 days I only saw 2 birds try this one and they couldn't figure out how to access the seeds. So I went back to my old tube feeder and within an hour I had 15 birds lined up awaiting their turn. But this bird feeder sure is cute! Maybe I can hang it indoors for decoration.
