Grows 36-40 inches high. Prefers sun. Plant History: An American plant often seen established around New York, "sphaera" means globe in Greek whilst "aklea" translates as mallow. This naming alludes to the shape of the clusters of fruits. Sphaeralcea Los Brisas is a hybrid betwee species which has been selected for the impressive color range shown. Hardy in zones 6-9.
