patio door lock
Item is design well and works smoothly. I had to drill and tap 2 holes into my door to secured it. I also had do some grinding so it will sit flush to the door. It is not the fault of the product. I just want to have it sit flush due to the way my patio door was build.

Great product, instructions could be improved
Works like a charm! Although the instructions are so meager that it took several attempts to figure out how the locking mechanism works.

Not great for vinyl door
This was more trouble than it looked to install, primarily because of my vinyl sliding glass door frame. The surface must be flat where you want to attach the unit. My door edge surface is not flat, so I had to make some wood shims to level things out. This was a bit of trouble. If the edge of your door is flat, installation will go much easier. Works well now that I have it in there.
