'Summer Lawn Plus' is a mixture combining 90% turf-type tall fescue with 10% Midnight Star Kentucky bluegrass. We are currently featuring Tar Heel, Silverado II, and SilverStar tall fescue varieties. All varieties have exhibited excellent turfgrass performance and persistance in turf trials near Raleigh, NC. Providing very good heat and drought tolerance, 'Summer Lawn Plus' features improved turf density and the ability to fill in lightly damaged areas. Very well adapted to all but the warmest areas of tall fescue adaptation. For new lawns, seed at approximately 8 lbs per 1000 sq ft. For overseeding, 4-5 lbs per 1000 sq. ft.
