Instant Murals dry rub transfers are not an ordinary wall sticker, wallpaper cutout or decal. It is better; it gives you the look and feel of having painted the designs onto your walls or other hard surface. As fun and easy to use as cutouts or self adhesive stickers, the final result is so much more. Installation is extremely easy. Simply separate the designs on the sheet, Use the enclosed applicator stick to transfer, then peel back the top layer and enjoy your new look, Removal is even easier - you don't have to. Because they are as thin as paint, you would just paint right over them when you want to change your decor. This is an amazingly easy do it yourself project, your kids can even help you design the room and apply the transfers. It has a thin, paint-like dry rub wall transfer that is created using an extremely high resolution image of original artwork. The detail is so amazing that you can see all the brush strokes from the original artwork. The design is printed on to a transfer sheet, and then an adhesive layer is applied over the outline of the design. A protective backing sheet is placed over the transfer until you are ready to apply to your surface. This design can be used on most hard surfaces, although is not recommended for areas of high heat or frequent water contact. Please note that colors may be different in person than they are on your monitor. In some photos the designs may appear larger; however actual sizes are listed so please refer to them. Looks great but is difficult to apply
We used the transfer stickers for the wall in our children's bathroom. My 5 yr old son calls them wall tattoos and I think that's a good description. You have to vigorously rub the front of the sticker against the wall until it transfers/sticks. This is not as easy as you may hope. And young children will not be able to rub hard enough to accomplish the transfer. In addition, it can be tricky getting the sticker on without wrinkles, tears, or bubbles. (We did a full sized wall paper mural in a different room and it was easier for us.) Once the sticker is on, (assuming no errors) it really looks great! The bathroom has a mix of these wall "tattoos" and the other easier (adhesive) stickers that just stick to the wall. The "tattoos" really look much better, but they are also much harder to work with. The easier stickers were great for the kids to use.

Not that hard to apply
Yes these are transfers, not stickers. They look great. We painted the wall they were going on first. It had a smooth finish. There was no adhesive spraying required. My wife was applying one very carefully with the popsicle stick at a gentle angle. This took a long time. In the meantime I held the edge of the stick at a 90 degree angle to the wall and rubbed the transer very hard/quick, and managed to transfer multiple fish in the same amount of time she spent on the first. It transferred quickly. There was no "gently peeling" to see if it was transferred. If you rub hard the fish will transfer and the paper lifts off by itself.

Please read the Product Description before buying
If you read the product description, it tells you these are not your normal peel & stick stickers! Notice the hint word in the Title "Transfer" Stickers. With regular stickers you just peel & stick and they have an edge when you put them on the wall, you can tell they are stickers, not with these instant transfer Murals. Like one review said they are like a tattoo you rub on and a better quality then a sticker. But it does take some work to put them on but if you take your time (don't rush) it pays off in the end. If you have rough walls or stucco I won't recommend this it would be hard to apply on bumps, you need a flat, smooth and most of all A HIGH quality paint on the wall!! I used an extra fish in my bath which has cheap semi gloss paint on the wall, I had a hard time rubbing it on; were in my son room I used a high quality Behr paint and they rub on smoother. I like the look so much better then stickers!!
