Better then the other guys
I received my first kit....used it....and it did not whiten my teeth. I was stressed at work and didn't feel like "arguing" with customer service so I didn't mention it for a while. Then I thought "hey, you spent the money"....so I sent an email explaining that the kit did not whiten my teeth like the other commercial brands did.

Soon after, I received an email with a tracking number, telling me a new kit had been sent to me, and that they stood by their product 100%.

Wow. Excellent customer service. So now, I'm on my third day.....and I have to say...my teeth are "glow in the dark" white! I must have just gotten a bad batch the first time. Stuff happens....but the key is whether the company is ready to make it right, and this company did. I've still got days and days to go...but already after the third treatment, my teeth are whiter than with the other store-bought brands.

Also, the type of peroxide used in this product does not cause the excrutiating pain that the other products do. Thats a plus.

Gel works great... Trays horrible
The gel works amazing, I only use it for 10 minutes at a time for the last 3 days and already see significant effects. I can only use it for 10 minutes because the trays are HORRID. The top impressions molded so poorly that the gel doesnt distribute right. Luckily, the bottoms molded right. Im thinking of investing in a custom tray to use with this gel.
Some tooth sensitivity.

Works for some...
I had to have some bonding fixed on my front teeth and wanted to whiten before that was done since bonding will not bleach. I went with this product as it had the professional strength whitening gel, with good reviews and a good price and seemed a much better deal than all the white strips kind of products. I only had time for 10 treatments, 30 minutes each, in the few weeks before my dental appt. I experienced no sensitivity the first 5 treatments. After that, each treatment caused increasing gum and teeth sensitivity. This is to be expected, as I'm sure anyone who whitens their teeth will tell you, and it wasn't extremely bad though it did get worse the more treatments I did. Although, I have no point of reference as this was my first time ever whitening (due to the bonding issue on my front teeth). After I finished my 10 whitening treatments there was also some lingering sensitivity in the gums for a few days and in the teeth for about a week. SO HOW DID IT WORK??? It only lightened my teeth 2 shades at best. Not at all as white as I expected given the reviews and high potency of the carbamide peroxide. My teeth look practically the same as before and maybe just a bit brighter. I guess it works for some and not as well for others. Again, it was my first time and I don't know if that has anything to do with it. I won't be whitening again until my bonding needs to be replaced again in several years and at that point I will definitely look into a different way of whitening.
Also, a note on the teeth trays - after molding them to my teeth it was nearly impossible to tell where to trim for the gum line. I ended up having to keep them in my mouth, look in a mirror and trace the gum line on the outside of the mold in order to trim them. It was annoying and time consuming and pretty difficult to get a good trim. I don't know if it's worth it to get custom trays just for this reason but if you have them or have the money to do it right, go for it and don't use these.
The only redeeming part (and reason for 2 stars instead of 1) is the enamel gel. It was soothing and helped with the sensitivity.
