paddle boat
The rubber band paddle boat is just what I expected it to be, oldie but goodie. My son (18 months)likes it, but still goes for the cheap plastic boat we already had. The paddle mechanism spins really fast without propelling and then catches up for a few turns at a rate that the water actually propels it forward, a very short distance. The wood gets water in it very easily. I still like it, I feel wood toys are great for tactile sense, not just another plastic toy.

disappointing
This was a stocking stuffer for our son. You need to wind the rubber band ETERNALLY to get the boat to putt just a little ways. Too difficult and not enough "go" for all the winding that you do. A neat idea, just needs tweaking
