I'm All Smiles
Yes I'm all smiles after buying Michelle's first CD entitled I'M ALL SMILES. Michelle is an incredibly gifted songstress who lives here in Orlando Fla. I met Michelle when she came into the place I worked to have her computer fixed. She's as personable as she is beautiful and she sings even better than she looks! When working I'm always listening to our local smooth Jazz station 103.1 When Michelle heard the music playing we started talking about the types of music I liked and that's how I learned that Michelle herself was a jazz vocalist!

Later on when I learned Michelle would be singing at one of the many free jazz concerts WLOQ has every summer here in Orlando Florida, I knew I had to go. I was dying to hear her sing and see if she had what it takes, or not! Well I certainly was not disappointed because when I finally got to hear Michelle sing, to say I was blown away would be an understatement. If you like the sound of Khani Cole, Pamela Driggs of Brasilia, Kevyn Lettau, Diana Krall, Renee Olstead, Norah Jones, Eliane Elias etc. you're just going to love listening to Michelle sing. I like almost every song on her CD ---which is an extremely rare thing for me to say, typically I like about half the songs on a CD--- but as much as I like Michelle's other songs I absolutely love and cannot get enough of the very Brasilian influenced song AFTERGLOW. Of course MY FAVORITE THINGS, I'M ALL SMILES and the rest of the songs on this CD are also very, very good as well, but for me AFTERGLOW is worth the price of the CD all by itself.

Michelle is an incredibly diverse woman, having performed & recorded with people such as Liza Minnelli, Jon Secada, Al Green, Jon Hendricks, Donna Summer, Michael McDonald, Celia Cruz, Rita Marley and Yanni. It's a crying shame that we live in a world that allows corporations like Sony & BMG etc. to take women of mediocre talent like Vanessa Williams, Alicia Keys, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, and countless other female vocalists with much less talent than Michelle has and then promote these woman as "stars" while an outstanding, incredible female vocalist like Michelle Amato remains relatively unknown and undiscovered. In my not so humble opinion Michelle is one of the very best female Jazz vocalists that's exists today ---bar none! Michelle's CD I'M ALL SMILES is pure unadulterated Jazz, plain and simple. If you're the type of person who enjoys listening to female jazz vocalists singing you just cannot go wrong buying this CD. In fact the only mistake you could possibly make at this point would be not buying it!

Fantastic
My wife and I saw Michelle performing live at a hotel on our trip to Florida this summer. We both fell in love with her voice and ordered this CD right away. I'm here to order another copy because we literally wore the first one out. She combines technical expertise with a sensitivity to how these sounds should come across to the listener. She is simply among the best, if not the best, singer I have ever heard. Michelle, if you read this, we're very anxious for your next CD.

Wonderful work and voice
She is just magic. I heard her voice and I felt whole different energy in my body and then my SOUL started feeling the love and magic she has in her voice.
