I have been using this loupes for about 6 years and are really great.
When I bought this loupes I paid for them 400 dollars about 6 years ago(not in this site). After being wearing them for at least three or four times a week since that moment I dont know how I was abble to make tendon surgery with out them. I hardly recommend them for working a distance of 18 inches till 20 inches from the field of surgery. I am actually 59 years old and use + 3.00 to read, but for surgery the loupes do the all optical work, I dont use my readding glasses for the while. If you are one of these surgeons that use to work so closed to the surgical field must think about the 13 inches ones, but for those surgeons that don like to get that closed to the anatomical field the 18 inches are perfect. A good surgery working tool, basically for orthopaedics surgery are a must. There are many others loupes like the "magnyfier" from optivisor or the one of bauch and lomb, they surelly help a lot if you need high quality vision field. I have a couple of the others that are cheapers but this is perfect for delicated surgery. I dont know how it works in the people with optical disfuntions like miopia or other type of watching troubles, remember this is just an augmentation instrument and not a glasses. You may ask your oftalmologist before ordering them. Its price became higher for the euro plus over the US dollar, but are for your all live, so they are cheap for that reason.
