Customer Reviews

great filter - great price5
I got these replacement filters on Amazon because they were less expensive than getting them from Aquasauna's website. I love my filter, I have it undermounted with the little brushed nickel spigot. It's a beautiful and healthy addition to my kitchen.

Buy from Aquasana directly for great customer service at the same or better price5
I bought my kit and filters directly from Aquasana back in June 2005. I've had a few problems, but the folks in Aquasana are very helpful. Fortunately they have made some improvements in the design of the filter housings and it's easier to install with the right tools. When the original cheaper kitchen faucet I chose started leaking water 2 years after purchase, I chose to upgrade to a much sturdier, better looking design (premium brushed nickel). I had to pay for that, but all the other things I broke (because of poor design) Aquasana replaced promptly, free of charge - I am part of their water for life program which involves spreading the cost of replacement filters over a year - that's why I can count on good customer service. If you take your time, & follow the instructions carefully when installing the filters you shouldnt have a problem and the water quality is great.

Good Water, Poor Build quality and design2
The filtered water was very good. However, the plastic parts are not durable and the over all design is poor. Changing the filter and replacing the O rings is shear aggravation. Water will seep from the filter lids, since the O rings want to bind, no matter how much lubricant is applied. The plastic threaded filter lids are not very sturdy and will strip their threads without much effort. Once the filter lids are on, they are a struggle to remove. The frail connection between the Filter Housings is much to easy to break. Avoid this unit. Much to fussy to maintain and poor design.
