Customer Reviews

Patio Pond De-icer P-5004
I have a 35 gallon plastic container that I use as a patio pond. I keep a couple of goldfish in it. The Patio Pond
De-icer works well with this small container.I have had sucess with my fish surviving through the winter. I cut back my hardy plants, dropping them to the bottom of the container and they survive the winter as well without freezing. The only draw back is that the ring will get deposit build-up and needs to be cleaned peroidically.

worked well for one year, then died2
At this price I could not recommend product; I got only
one year of service. The item looked well made except
that there seemed to be nothing to prevent water from
infiltrating unit where cord entered handle.

This year I'll look for a less expensive solution so
that yearly replacement won't be so painful.
