This is a custom written CD-ROM containing eight Andrew Clements school themed teaching units. These units are designed to be used with some student/instructor interaction. They can also be revised to be used as an independent study for the student. The units are written for a student that reads on the 5-8th grade level. The unit lengths are as follows: *Frindle: 7-day unit. *The Report Card: 12-day unit. *The Landry News: 10-day unit. *The Janitors Boy: 10-day unit. *Lunch Money: 17-day unit. *The School Story: 13-day unit. *A Week in the Woods: 12-day unit. *The Last Holiday Concert: 11 day unit. Units can be slowed down or sped up as needed for the individual student. These units work great in a one-on-one setting for homeschool or for a teacher to use as a resource in the classroom for a small group or entire class. Each unit is designed so that you can start teaching immediately with little to no preparation on your part. Great time saver! Each unit contains: 1. Teacher Packet containing detailed daily lesson plans, an answer key, and suggested curriculum connection activities. 2. Student Packet containing vocabulary activities and comprehension questions. 3. An after the book activity packet. These units comes in a PDF file on a CD. You can then print off as many copies as you desire. It can be used on either a PC or a MAC. Software needed is Adobe Acrobat Reader. This can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website if you don't already have it on your computer. I wrote and developed these unit myself. I am a certified teacher in the state of Nebraska. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Iowa State University and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska-Omaha. In addition to my Masters I have taken graduate courses on teaching of the Gifted and Talented. I have successfully used these activities in the classroom setting many times. **Books not included.
