Its science oriented, but made for layperson, Bryson does not talk down to the viewer, instead he charms with wit. I gave this to my girlfriend on our second date and it has been smooth sailing since.....

Buy new: $11.01 / Used from: $7.30 Im mostly a non-fiction junkie, but this book is too good to pass up. It is a story about a "green superhero" who stands up for mother nature. I love the writing and the story is great, not only is it engaging but it also opens your eyes to the injustices and ways that we can all improve the world around us. A must read.
