This was an interesting book. It has beautiful, rare pictures of Marilyn's childhood and on into her years of fame. The author does have a bias though.

An in depth look at the photo session done by George Barris in the summer of 1962, before Marilyn died. The pictures are taken both at her Brentwood home and on the beach. The author interviewed Marilyn extensively and this book is mainly quotes from Marilyn. A must read.

A fantastic Marilyn biography that focuses mainly on Marilyn's acting and her business side. Written very well and thourough.

The most "tabloid" of Marilyn's biographies. The picture he paints of Marilyn is not gentle, to say the least. If you want the purported "dirt" from her many men, to alledged lesbian affair, to drugs, etc. than this is the one for you. Also, beware of a post-mortem pic of Marilyn at the end of the photos, it is disturbing.

These are just really fun to look at! It features very nicely done outfits from all of Marilyn's main roles.

For those Marilyn fans that wish to learn more about the circumstances surrounding Marilyn's death, this is the book for you. The investigation is the closest anyone has ever come to solving Marilyn's death.

Let me preface this by saying that this book may or may not be true. Marilyn did record herself in order for her Freudian therapist to analyze later. What we don't know is what the therapist did with the tapes. This book claims that the author knew someone who had access to the tapes. He says they were later destroyed. If true, the content would contradict the coroner ruling of probable suicide.

This book got lost in a move, but I remember it being a wonderful look at Marilyn during the shooting of Niagara. The pictures show a radiant Marilyn on the brink of stardom.

This was my first Marilyn book, and it made me fall in love. It is written by two well-known detectives who claim to have solved Marilyn's death. Some of their claims have since been corroborated by others, other claims remain just that- claims.

Not an encyclopedia per se, but a look at the many faucets of her life. Lots of quotes by Marilyn and on Marilyn. A Who's-Who of the character in her life, trivia questions, movie details, personal info, etc. A really enjoyable book.

Your basic hardcover picture book of Marilyn. This one had some unique pictures that were of good quality.

He also took many pictures of Marilyn, which are included. A letter he had written Marilyn was found in the stack of papers beside Marilyn's bed the night she died.
