Skip the electric bottle warmers, which use steam to heat the bottles. High temperatures can damage the antibodies in breast milk (allegedly). Use this cup in the sink with warm water to safely take the chill off of refrigerated breast milk.

Buy new: $4.36 Don't necessarily buy these ones, but make sure you get bibs that have a snap. Velcro closures are weak, and get weaker over time. Your baby will start pulling on the bib, so the stronger the closure, the better. You will need bibs for feeding and drooling. If you are not careful, milk will collect in the folds of the neck and soon smell cheesy (yum!).

Buy new: $14.66 Skip the other products that have annoying odors. The idea behind preventing diaper rash is to keep moisture away from the skin, and this will do the trick to prevent (not treat) diaper rash. The jars are also convenient to dip your fingers in. Remember to cover the entire groin area, especially in the folds and butt crack, where moisture can collect.

Some also are concerned about dependency issues (which may be valid...so I bring ours everywhere we go).
