Good To Have5
If you own the Black and Decker workbench, these pegs are good to have in addition to the four pegs you get with the workbench. They come in handy from time to time. Not essential but useful.

best thing to having a vise and worktable5
The Workmate pegs are the perfect accessory for the used workmate I purchased at GoodWill. Now I can clamp small strips of wood for sanding and planing, and fold the whole apparatus away when I'm done. Living in a small apartment, I miss my full basement workshop, but the versatility of the pegs allows me to do a lot of tasks with hand tools that I could not do before.

Pegs won't fit without trimming3
I own one of the early Workmates that were made, from the early 70's. The original swivel pegs were blue, but I lost one. I ordered the newer orange pegs, which claim to fit "all Workmates", however, they are too tight for the holes in my old Workmate. I have had to do a lot of trimming of the orange stems to get them to work. It's workable, but definitely not just "plug and go". They require trimming first. Once that's done, they work fine.
