Customer Reviews

Wonderful!5
After reading several reviews on here, I felt that I had to respond. This book has changed my life. I am Catholic, but this book does NOT denounce religion. Rather it enhances it. What Redfield was saying in the book was that there are religious leaders who would feel threatened by people experienceing spiritual fulfillment OUTSIDE of the church.

I can only tell you what I've experienced and I experienced several of the things mentioned in the book before I even read it. It's uplifting and it gives one a different way to get closer to God. It is NOT saying that you can think of a shiny new car and "poof!" there it is.

If more people were to follow the insights, perhaps there wouldn't be as much violence and corruption in our society as there is. This book talks of how peace between people can be acheived. Isn't that what Christianity and other religions are striving for?

If a path offers peace and love as God is trying to teach us, isn't that okay? Some paths are better for some people as others are better for other people. But as long as they all lead to the same place, isn't that the goal?

The Celestine Prophecy does not negate any organized religion. Perhaps, it's not for everyone, but that's okay. Just because one person is Catholic and another is Buddist does not mean that one person is right and the other wrong. How arrogant to think such a thing!

Experience a Guide to Empowerment5
Wouldn't it be great if you had a guidebook to help you figure out your life's purpose, your relationships, and the path to create a brighter future? James Redfield's "The Celestine Prophecy: An Experiential Guide" is one book that can assist you with these goals. Use the excercises in this book to determine how your family of origin continues to influence your goals and dreams. Learn how to identify and end power struggles. Although many of these provocative excercises help you explore where you have been, they will also inspire you to see where you would next like to go--spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Some of the exercises are worth doing more than once; for they provide new insights over time.

The "Experiential Guide" is well worth adding to your library, even if you haven't read "The Celestine Prophecy." As a tool for self-enlightenment and empowerment, the "Experiential Guide" stands just fine on its own

The most inspiring book i have ever read5
I was introduced to this book by my friend and i couldn't put it down for 2 days until i had finished it. It was so good that when i finished reading it i went out and bought "The Celestine Prophecy: An Experiential guide" and "The Tenth Insight". Which i also thought were extremely interesting. Even though it has been a couple of years since i read it i still find it amzing hen i meet someone else who has read it and how it has changed their life.
