#61 - Altered States is a great film about the unforeseen changes associated with a hallucinatory drug and an isolation chamber. Good Stuff

#63 - Jacob’s Ladder is loosely based on the teachings of the Tibetan Book of the Dead. I encourage all parties interested in horror to buy both the book and the movie. For all you intellectuals out there, the correlation is fascinating.

#65 - The Amityville Horror is supposed to be based on a true story. We question whether this is indeed the case, but that doesn't detract from the value of this 70s horror movie classic.

#67 - The Quartermass Xperiment is a must-have Hammer classic that helped to revitalize horror after Universal started to fade from memory.

#69 - From Beyond is not the typical H.P. Lovecraft big-screen adaptation as not many film makers can do justice to a Lovecraft story. Stuart Gordon, however, can.

#71 - Army of Darkness has Ash from The Evil Dead transporting to the past to fight legions of the undead. Directed by Sam Raimi.

# 73 - The Birds, from the "Master of Suspense" Alfred Hitchcock, asks a question; what would happen if nature were to suddenly decide that humans were an intolerable nuisance? I think they would win.

#75 - The Stepford Wives is part horror, part Science Fiction and part social commentary. Although there are tons of remakes and "sequels" to this film, the original 1975 version is the one to watch.

#77 - Videodrome was ahead of it's time as Cronenberg draws on Science Fiction and horror in an extremely surreal way.

#79 - Friday the 13th Part 2 is difficult to separate from the first installment of the now-franchise, but director Steve Miner exceeded expectations and furthered the story beautifully. He brought us Jason Voorhees as the killer, after all.

#81 - Grindhouse showed to theaters as a complete double feature including previews of coming attractions and "cigarette burns" from the film making process. It is a shame that they released each feature independently.

#83 - The Mummy from the golden years of Universal Horror has the legend Boris Karloff as the bandaged walking dead.

#85 - Nosferatu is the original horror movie vampire, based on Bram Stoker's novel. To think this one was almost lost over a copyright dispute.

# 87 - The Beyond is the second part of the Seven Gates trilogy and culminates everything Fulci wanted to create – a must for the Fulci fan.

# 89 - Dog Soldiers failed to gain distribution in United States theaters. Luckily it can be found on DVD because you need to watch it again and again.

#91 - IT is responsible for many childhood fears of clowns that, in some cases, lives on through adulthood. Damn that Pennywise...

#93 - Salems Lot was a made for TV miniseries based on a Stephen King novel and was clearly responsible for scarring many young children emotionally for years to come. Their therapists are grateful.

#95 - In Dracula, the Bram Stoker tale told by Francis Ford Coppola, every subtle change in color, music or scenery adds to the mystery and intensity. This one appeals to horror fans, classic movie fans and theater fans alike, and is as close to the original literary work as we have seen yet.

#97 - Frankenstein, Universal style, has the big lug setting the tone for horror movie monsters that still exists today. Don't miss the classics that laid the groundwork for the horror we love today.

#99 - Dead Ringers is a Cronenberg classic about twin gynecologists who take advantage of the fact that nobody can tell them apart. Intense.
