Buy new: $33.39 Exergen is the brand of thermometers they use at my child's pediatrician. They use the professional version. This is a great thermometer that takes readings with one quick swipe across the forehead - possible with a hyperactive toddler. Just be aware that the temperatures you read are not the same as what you will see from an underarm or in-ear thermometer.
