Omron HJ-112 Digital Pocket PedometerOmron HJ-112 Digital Pocket Pedometer
Buy new: $22.78
For under 20 bucks it lets you keep track of the walking you do. Does not make those annoying clicking noises you hear on cheap pedometers and it is fairly accurate. A good motivator to take a few extra steps every day. Nice big display and has a tether on it in case it gets knocked off your waist.

$20 for a year of phone service.... hard to beat. The downside is that your computer has to be on for your phone to work. I got the product directly from their website. Setup was a breeze and voice quality has been quite good so far.

Exergen is the brand of thermometers they use at my child's pediatrician. They use the professional version. This is a great thermometer that takes readings with one quick swipe across the forehead - possible with a hyperactive toddler. Just be aware that the temperatures you read are not the same as what you will see from an underarm or in-ear thermometer.

Not exactly cheap but a hard drive isn't where you want 'cheap'. Reliable and with a good name behind it the western digital My Book drives are quiet and work in sync with your computer, shutting down and going to sleep when the computer does. So plug the drive in and forget about it. It behaves almost like an internal drive.
