My daughter loves this bike
I just purchased this bike for my 8-yo. It only took 6 days to arrive (including the weekend). The bike does have quite a few little scratches and blemishes and the stickers were not put on very well. It would be really nice if they included a little tub of pink touch-up paint. I would be lying if I said it was easy to put together, it was a total pain in the butt and took longer than I thought it would, but this was the first time I've had to put one together. We still can't get the hand brakes to squeeze the tires tight enough to stop her very well. Aside from all that, this seems like a good solid bike. The seat and handlebars can be adjusted as she grows. Abbey loves it and it IS really very cute. All her little friends are jealous. The purse that can be attached to the bike is a nice addition.

Damaged during shipping
This may be a great bike - I don't know. But we ordered 2 for our 2 - 7 year old daughters and they were so damaged, we couldn't even make one good bike from the two boxes. I have ordered many things from Amazon and they are always packaged well so I wasn't concerned about shipping bikes. However, one box was actually open when it was delivered and the other was almost open and had a big hole in it. Luckily all the parts were in them (or at least we think they were). There was no packing materials to cushion the product and they were not securely boxed. Very disappointing. We ended up returning these and buying directly from a store.

Not the best bike ever......
I am 9 and I got this on my birthday. My mom spent at least 30 minutes trying to get on the handel bars. And did not get them on. We tried again a week or so later, and again no luck. We sort of forgot about it for a while, and it began to get in the way, so I tried. I had to stick things in there to make it so it would work, then....it fell apart before I got it out the door. So now we have to go bring it to a bike shop. If you get this, you might as well buy it, bring it to the shop, then put a bow on it and give it to whoever that way. :)
