A lot of fun
I have no idea who this character is, but it looked cool, and they toy is ;loads of fun, largely due to the collections of dreadlocks on his head that allow for the illusion of movement or wind.
However, be careful with the waste joint, mine snapped while posing it.

Fun and Unique Toy
The namesake robot from the lighthearted anime, Overman King Gainer, is an excellent Revoltech release. One of the earliest of the Revoltech line (#07 to be exact) it has a lot of interesting design choices that make it stand out. By my count, it has 14 Revoltech joints, 4 in the "dreadlocks", 1 neck, 1 chest, 2 wrist, 2 elbow, 2 knee and 2 ankle joints. The hips and shoulders utilize a unique combination of two monoshaft joints that keep the figure show accurate and don't hinder poseability. Accessory-wise, there are several spare sets of hands, including 2 to hold King Gainer's sword/gun weapon. The sword/gun has a spare blade that replicates a chainsaw effect. Very cool. There is the universal V-shaped Revoltech stand as well as a green circular disc that attaches via 2 more small Revoltech joints to King Gainer's dreadlocks to replicate his "Photon Mat" energy.

For the most part, King Gainer seems to be made of a more rubbery plastic than most other Revoltech releases. It's really nice and makes the character a little more durable. Parts that might come off during handling easily pop back in place. The only problem I had was with King Gainer's left leg. There are 2 pouches attached to the hip and during handling one popped off. A quick dab of super glue and King Gainer was back in business. Overall, King Gainer has a very cool organic look about it that is a departure from the normal robot releases in the Revoltech line. Seeing how cheap Overman King Gainer is right now, it's an absolute steal for anyone who is a fan of robots or action figures.
