ALL NEW!!!
15 minute, 30 minute & 45 minute practices!

Namaste, Welcome to Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga ~ Short Forms with Jennifer Wolfe. Continuing in the spirit of her first award winning DVD Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga, Jennifer has made a short forms version of the DVD the New York Times said, Make you feel good, even with a big belly...my arms and legs got a workout, and I felt stretched, connected and relaxed."
This DVD was specifically developed for women who are pregnant and have experience with Ashtanga, Vinyasa, or Power Yoga before pregnancy; but can also be used by those with less experience or practitioners of other forms of yoga if they listen to their bodies, use the 3rd trimester modifications, start with the 15 minute practice and only do poses which feel good. This DVD was created to be challenging while giving women different modifications for each stage of their pregnancy. It focuses on breath and body awareness to safely achieve a vigorous practice.

Great Yoga at a Great Price5
After reading reviews for prenatal dvds, i opted for this one because 1) hints that the yoga would be challenging and strength building and 2) the 15- 30- and 45- minute options. My husband and I practice with the dvd 3x a week and he enjoys the workout as well. Also, a great feature is that the instructor does modification for 1st trimester while she is joined by pregnant students who do modifications for both the 2nd and 3rd trimester. The dvd is a great alternative to attending prenatal classes that while being beneficial can add up financially. Also, other reviews of Jennifer Wolfe's prenatal practices critique the rest and relaxing segment at the end of the practice, I find it simple to stop the dvd and do my own.

Best Prenatal Fitness Video I've Found So Far5
I've been trying a lot of prenatal fitness videos lately, and I haven't been all that impressed. My husband bought me this one for Christmas and it is head and shoulders above the other videos I've tried. Granted, it's not the same as taking a class in person, but that's not much of an option for me as a second-time mom, and I found Jennifer Wolfe's approach to prenatal yoga to be fairly unique compared to other videos.

The modifications she's made to create a vinyasa that will work in pregnancy feel very fluid to me (e.g., moving the thumbs together in downward-facing dog to allow room for a leg to come forward around a big belly). I tried some more strenuous yoga with my first pregnancy and found it too much for me, but this time around, with this video, I feel challenged but strong, especially in my arms and upper body. I'm also still experiencing the late 1st trimester exhaustion and was worried this would just leave me more tired; on the contrary, I left the practice feeling energized. My 3.5-year-old loved it, too. She did the 15-minute practice with me and then asked to do it again when we were done!

I love that I can choose to do a 15-, 30- or 45-minute practice. This really works well while I try to fit in exercise and keep up with a preschooler.

There were a couple of movements that tweaked some pains I have in my lower abdominal muscles/ligaments, but I just backed off and did a slightly less deep version of the stretch. I've never found a video that fit my body perfectly, pregnant or not, so I've become accustomed to modifying as my body directs me to.

Ok-ish3
This dvd will give you more of a workout than most prenatal yoga dvds, so in that sense I think this could be a good choice for people who are looking for something a bit more challenging.

What is very convenient is that you can choose between 3 workouts; 15 mins, 30 mins and 45 mins.

What I like less about this workout is that it has a lot of lunges (and stepping forward into a lunge from downward facing dog position). If you are prone to lower back pain, you want to steer clear of doing that.

I also think the instructor is not always clear about the breath. You'll be doing a series of poses and find out that when she does tell you, you are getting it wrong. (I have been doing yoga for a while and with other dvds this does not happen)
She has a pleasant way of talking though.

Usually my upper back feels really good and loosened up after a yoga workout, this one doesn't give me so much relief. There are some typical pregnancy yoga poses in it, but somehow it doesn't feel like it suits the pregnant body that well.

I use the prenatal one by Rainbeau Mars too and though that one is a lot slower and less strenuous, it does make my back feel good afterwards. I just alternate the two!

I hope this was helpful to you, good luck with your pregnancy and your yoga!
