A Must for Your Paranormal Library5
Conducting a Paranormal Investigation: A Training Guide
By Beth Brown

This book is a good guide for the beginning paranormal investigator. It is also a good reference guide for any ghost hunter to have in their kit or library. The author takes you step by step through the process from start to finish.

The guide covers your pre-investigation needs and safety all the way through making your findings and conclusions. Ms. Brown also includes what to pack, how to interview clients and witnesses, research, setting up, investigation techniques, and data analysis. Sprinkled among the chapters are some handy tips the author has found helpful during the course of her own paranormal forays.

The chapters on data analysis and EVP classifications are particularly helpful. The resource section is extremely useful; it contains sample forms, legal agreements, interview questions, and recommended web sites. Even if you don't use the samples verbatim, they can act as springboards for making customized versions of your own.

All in all I give this guide two thumbs up. This slim volume is jam packed with useful resources and information for the paranormal investigator. I personally carry it with me now in my own ghost hunting kit.

A great resource5
This training guide is a very valuable resource for those starting their paranormal investigations. It proves just as valuable for experienced investigators as well. It is well-written and easy to follow. Beth's writing style is neither didactic nor condescending, and she makes sure to include what not to do, as well as what to do.

Not so hot...3
The book was incredibly short, but what information it had was relevant and helpful. Just wish there had been more of it!
