From the Back Cover
This captivating account covers everything from high-tech gadgetry like infrared thermometers and EMF detectors to nonscientific tools such as dowsing rods and ouija boards. As the capital of the Hoosier State, Indianapolis offers numerous sites of criminal activity, suicides, disturbed remains, horrific fires, and tragic accidents, providing hundreds of opportunities for ghost hunting. Investigators explore eerie locations such as the Central State Mental Hospital, a facility that is reportedly the most actively haunted place in the state. Other locales include the legendary House of Blue Lights. Before it was demolished, it was often visited by local teens pumped with adrenaline and eager to prove their bravery. For them, climbing the iron fence and taking a dip in the glowing blue pool was a rite of passage. Now the area remains a green space that offers beautiful wildlife by day and frightening spectral visions by night. Must-have for midwestern paranormal enthusiasts!5
Lorri and Keri are two of the most experienced and knowledgeable ghost hunters in the Indianapolis area. In their book, they don't just tell you ghost stories, they take you there. Years of research and adventures have gone into the making of this book, making it unique among other Indiana ghost guidebooks... each location is related with its history, folklore, and firsthand accounts of the authors investigating hauntings.

The book is written in a friendly, personal style that makes it a good read as well as a great reference. Speaking as an another experienced Indianapolis area paranormal investigator, I have to say this book is an essential part of my library of books on the subject. Having been to many of the places in the book, I have found the descriptions to be quite accurate and often make me want to return as I read about them.

Great book on Indianapolis!5
This little book is a great read. I highly recommend it not only for those that are interested in ghosts, but those that love history. I learned so much about Indiana/Indianapolis history that I never knew before...
