Buy new: $14.84 / Used from: $18.63 this story is like one long runon sentences. this mother is convinced she's being attacked by a demon (but the real demon is her abusive boyfriend - uhm hello?). it was way too god-heavy for me.

Buy new: $25.20 / Used from: $24.12 an anthropologist explores the real-life case of a german girl's possession and ultimate death in 1976. pretty spooky, but i'm still not convinced it was possession. i'm leaning more towards catatonic schizophrenia, perhaps. but by all means, check it out!
![]() | Hell's Gate: Terror at Bobby Mackey's Music World by Douglas Hensley
Buy new: $20.47 / Used from: $17.80 ugh. where do i start? this is an "investigative" look at a haunting in a country music club in kentucky. its all hearsay, rewritten from interviews of the main players. and being as this is in pentecostal country... the "demons and satan" are exorcised in the end with all the fire and brimstone you could ask for. this book was so-so. it is what it is.
![]() | Dark Force - The Terrifying and Tragic Story of the Bean Family by William J. Bean Jr.
Buy used from: $75.00 a self-published account of a childhood haunting by a born-again, jesus lovin' william bean who, along with his smaller brother and mother, live through some very scary hauntings in the 70s and 80s that nearly destroy his family. typos galore aside, this book was actually one of the better accounts i've read, still the GOD heavy leanings made this read just a bit annoying. so be forewarned.
![]() | Demonic Dance by ANG
