About the Author
Rober Moss is an internationally recognized dream explorer, workshop leader, and bestselling novelist. A former foreign correspondent, history and philosophy professor, magazine editor, and broadcaster, Moss is the author of fifteen books, including, Conscious Dreaming: A Spiritual Path for Everyday Life and Dreamgates: An Explorer's Guide to the Worlds of Soul, Imagination, and Life Beyond Death. Moss presents this training course in "conscious" dreaming, which is composed of six tapes. Each side of a tape is a separate session, which is self-contained and accessible. The course does not have quite the energy of a live workshop. Nonetheless, the pace is good and, except for a few spots where Moss falls a bit into an undertone, the volume is steady and easy to control. Moss's generous dishing up of personal anecdotes and tales of dreaming experiences he's heard about keeps the course lively. Whatever you know about dreams - this will fill the gaps
You will want to listen to these tapes again and again as you absorb all that Robert Moss covers about dreaming -- an excellent map to the journey within and the portals you enter through dreams. I LOVE the hall of time and tips on exploring its many rooms. After listening to these tapes a few times, I dreamed that I was in a workshop with Robert Moss and in the dream I came into my own as a teacher. Since then I've enjoyed delightful dreams of teaching, one demonstrating to an auditorium of sleeping people how to fly while they're dreaming. So the tape set served as a catalyst into a critical initiation for me. I highly recommend it!

An Excellent Introduction to the Mystical Side of Dreaming
I have read many books on dreaming and dream analysis. This set of tapes presents a very good introduction to the more mystical / shamanic side of dreaming. What sets these tapes apart from Robert's book is the exercises that he presents and walks you through on the tape. They make an excellent gift for anyone interested in dreaming.

So NOT a "book on tape"!
This audio set is a course in adventure! Yes, it is complimented by Mr Moss' book of the same title, but it is not some airy thing that you pop in the tape deck for distraction on those long road trips! This is a guide for the Roads to be found in Shamanic journeys. Mr Moss' narration sets the perfect tone for the excursion, and his years of experience teaching workshops on the subject shine through. To complement these tapes, he also has a new series of videos, from Psyche Productions in Milford CT, which deepen the journey even further. The possibilities are limitless!!!
