Awesome little TV!5
I just purchased this TV on sale at Penney's because I needed to replace my little one for the kitchen due to the digital change. This TV has a crystal clear picture and I do not have a problem with the sound at all. It picks up all available local channels plus a bunch I never heard of, even on cable. I get around 15 or so, plus one radio channel. I'm only using the telescoping antenna, but it does come with an additional one if needed. It was very easy to set up and I'm extremely happy with it!

No signal, no support1
I don't usually write a product review but for the 7" Eviant DTV, I had to make an exception. I bought one at JC Penney. I live in the DC/Baltimore area so plenty of stations and plenty of signals. The TV received none of them inside, outside, or with either antenna. I called support, message was to leave a message and they would return the call. No call. Took the TV back, got a second one. Same thing. I emailed tech support which was off-line. No response to either inquiry after several days. Took it back for refund. My experience says bad product, bad support, bad company. Look for a different brand -- I am.

This is a nice little DTV5
Eviant T7 7-Inch Portable LCD TV, Black
Like many others who have a TV in their kitchen, the DTV switch promised to leave me TV-less, but this was a perfect solution. I tried the converter box 'solution', but the combo of the old 5", with rabbit ears and the converter took up too much space. This TV is perfect. I'm curious when their 4.3" version will arrive.

When I first set it up, it defaulted to auto-scan on startup, which came up with no signals. I bypassed it and went into the menu. The manual scan pulled in 19 channels, which is more than I had with my old TV! I had to fiddle with the antenna to get it to work on most of them, but it's not near a window, so I'd expect that. This DTV transition has been a traumatic experience for my 88-year-old mother, so I'll probably pick one up for her to replace the little TV in her kitchen.

The sound is what I'd expect from a little TV, so I'm giving this a two-thumbs-up.

If it only had a hanger on the back so I could put it on the wall...
