great new book
This is a great book to review the newer and more rare crystals and gem stones. Really a plus for your collection. Judy Hall does everything impeccably, with good concise discriptions, great photo's, good orginization of items all for a very good price. Compared to the competition, Melodies new complete book sells for $100.00, thats a whole lot of paper. Buy Judy Hall. She's great. Check out her other books as well.

A good supplement to the Crystal Bible
This book works as a nice addendum for the crystal bible. For those who are Judy Hall fans, I highly reccomend the book. The book is generally organised into categories of minerals, such as quartz, other minerals, and mineral combinations. Some of the entries are pretty redundant, but there is still some great info to be gleaned.

Not Judy Hall's best book.
I use The Crystal Bible by Judy Hall all the time. This book doens't make the grade and comes across as an after-thought.
