Customer Reviews
My cat doesn't mind this collar
I use both the small & x-small for my average sized cat. They both fit but it just depends on how much you need to cover up. At first my cat was a little apprehensive but he easily got used to it and it doesn't interfere with his daily life. They don't last forever but it beats putting him in a cone which he hates.
Size small works for a big cat
I just got this today but wanted to say that the size small seems suitable for a cat who is considered large as far as house cats go. He is old and thin now but still long and tall but the size small looks like it's going to work out. His wound is on his back and sort of to the side. When he's up and about the cape does not cover the wound but when he sits and turns to try and lick the wound the cape shifts and bars access. We have a cat flap that lead out into a (perfectly safe and secure) "observation deck" that I built so they could get out and hear/sniff/see the real world and with this collar on he can still get through the flap but it does take extra time and effort. Pretty funny to watch actually.
Love this collar
My cat has unfortunately been in and out of this collar since late january...she doesn't mind it all all and has become adept at jumping, climbing and even using the covered litter box....it has lasted this long too..now it is so nice and "comfy" for her that I hate to get her a new one...hopefully she will be out of it soon...
