Nice fireplace scent. Not cloying or overpowering.
The Douglas Fir incense sticks are quite pleasant. I purchased them with the hope that they might make a nice "fireplace" scent to enhance the realism of my electric fireplace. They really did the trick. They have a nice, relatively subtle scent of evergreen trees and burning wood, and they don't have the sweet, choking, cloying scent of most incense.

Cures homesickness for native Seattleites
My mom gave us a box of this incense after we moved from Seattle to Northern Virginia. This incense is clean burning and fresh - reminds us exactly of the smell of a campfire at the beach or in the Cascades. Since it is charcoal free and all-natural, it is easy on the sinuses. Hands down, my favorite incense out there.
