About the Brand
In the early 1900s, Lawrence Frank and Theodore Van de Kamp turned a tiny Los Angeles potato chip shop into a multi-million dollar bakery empire. Then in the early 1920s, Lawrence and his brother-in-law Walter Van de Kamp went into the restaurant business together and opened a succession of acclaimed restaurants, including The Great Scot and the Tam O'Shanter.

In 1938, the brothers founded Lawry's The Prime Rib restaurant in Beverly Hills. A destination restaurant for celebrities, powerbrokers, and socialites, The Prime Rib was also the birthplace of Lawry's Seasoned Salt. Lawrence originally created this unique blend of salt and spices for use exclusively in the restaurant but soon introduced to the marketplace in response to overwhelming demand.

There is no match for the flavor of Lawry's spaghetti sauce....my children will not even eat it in resturants because the flavor is no match.Great product Thanks!

The Sauce of my childhood
I was delighted to find this old favorite on Amazon. I grew up with this, and to me it will always be what spaghetti sauce is supposed to taste like. I use the tomato sauce version, not the tomato paste. It's great with or without some meat added.
