Great shoe if you don't need ankle support
This shoe by Hi-Tec is a fantastic choice if you do not require any ankle support. It is relatively lightweight and breathable. I took this hiking around Mountain View, Arkansas. It did exceptionally well scrambling up slick and smooth worn flint stone paths. I even did a bit of light caving in them. They provided excellent grip and were adequate for both activities.

The sizing seemed to be true for me. They have a toe cap on the exterior which helps to curb hurt tootsies on downhill jaunts and the mid sole support given was perfect for my foot (wide toe, wide arch).

They missed a star because they are a little sparing on heel and Achilles tendon padding.

Overall, great 3 season hiking shoe.

Comfortable shoes
I bought a pair of these shoes several month ago, and they still look the same as the first day. I wear them almost every day for school, and they are my workout shoes too. I bought them for $20 from amazon, which was quite a good deal.
