Customer Reviews

a vital resource4
A Girl of Beauty is designed to help a mother develop an excellent character in their daughter...The focus is taken off the outward and refocused on the value of good ideals..The traits of friendship, loyality, and purpose for life are just an example of some of the 18 development traits ..Each trait has a biblical reference, review section, and further study information. The book is designed as a daily devotional with a section for your notes..It is refreshing to see a book geared for 7 and up when girls are so impressionable. This tool helps us to form Godly character in the vessels the Lord has lent to us to rise in this "world " of high fashion and "me centered" philosphies..

A must for pre-teen girls5
This is one of the best books I have come across. I have even adapted many of the character lessons for my son as well. I highly recommend this book.

A blessing5
This book is a great way to start any girl around 7 on devotionals. I have a 6yo that has been very self centered lately. I started the first section about "building character" and she has not been the same. We homeschool, so instead of a section a day, we are repeating a trait for the whole week. We will be journaling about what the Father tells us for writing lessons this fall, memorizing the verses for Bible, and praying for God to make a change in myself and my daughter through this. I look forward to the change God has in store. I highly recommend this for 7- up girls. It is a needed focus on the very things that make us "in but not of". I pray you see the Father's hand on you and your girl through this simple devotional.
