What can I say? She's Joni James
Joni was a favorite, in college, 50 years ago. She is still a favorite. I used to get goose bumps listening to her. I still do. She is a unique talent and I frequently have one of her cd's in my player, in the car, ready to play as I drive. She still gets to me, after all of these years.
If you have never heard her sing, you have missed a very joyful experience. If she doesn't touch you emotionally, you should call your doctor immediately or the mortician. You are either dying or are already dead.

Joni James-Dedicated to You
Even after 50+ years, Joni James is in the top tier of American singers. Her delicate, wistful and almost child like soprano voice, together with her unique style singing ballads from Hank Williams to Hoagy Carmichael, make her hard to beat. This collection is perhaps my favorite of all of her albums. I hadn't heard "Stardust" since "Sleepless in Seattle" (Nat King Cole), but her version here is almost unbeatable too. And even with Rogers and Hammerstein's "People Will Say We're in Love", Joni gives it her inimitable personal touch!
