Customer Reviews

Great, rare, early recordings of Teresa Brewer!4
When it comes to the early rare London recordings of Teresa Brewer, this CD has several of them. Hard-to-find recordings such as "Punky Punkin" and both sides of a duet single with Snooky Lanson. Then from her years on Coral, there are some harder-to-find singles and B-sides, such as "Hello Bluebird" (B-side of "Till I Waltz Again With You") and "Our Heartbreaking Waltz" (B-side of "Bell Bottom Blues"). The London tracks were definitely taken from fairly good quality discs (not tape) and surface noise is audible at times. The Coral selections sound higher in quality and are probably from tape. Liner notes give recording dates for each track. Overall this is a good compilation.
