the original item was bought for me by my now late mother when i was 8 years old and was played with until virtually worn out after many years of
enjoyment.to see it still produced restored my faith in the toy business
even if i had to go to america to purchase.in england they dont make what i call PROPER TOYS anymore hence the robotic nature of most of our children who arent encouraged to use their imagination and expand their minds anymore.anyway im off to build a bridge for my train set-55 years age???

Great bridge-building set
I got this for my 9-year old son, who has enjoyed it very much. He enjoys building the bridges as well as having a place to play with his toy car collection. It is somewhat educational in that it lets a child experience some basic building constraints an principles.
