One thousand feet of rope used in hammock construction for durable woven bed with double-latch construction and 14 loops in body adding more rope for greater comfort and strength. Hand-tied bowline knot tightens with use. Hammock clew is macraméd for artistic design. Three-ply twisted rope reinforces bed strength while cotton rope fibers breathe for cool, comfortable lounging. Natural color of rope keeps hammock looking new. Spreader bars are constructed of solid oak for premium durability and strength. Spreader bars are triple dipped in marine spar varnish to lengthen life. Hammock support 450 lbs. and comes complete with superior constructed hardware. Heavy-duty zinc chromate hardware resists rust. Two inch diameter ring and welded chain ensure safety. Zinc plated hook and eyebolt assembly is the largest in the industry for added protection and to prevent stress on point of insertion.

Not what I expected
I bought this original Pawley's island hammock. Didn't find out untill I opened the box that it was made in China. Now that may not matter to some. but I expected an original Pawley's island hammock to be made in the USA. It looks like it was made by children.

Very comfortable
The hammock was easy to set up and within about 10 minutes everyone was waiting their turn. It's been set up for about a month and the rope is a little discolored. I think it would be too inconvenient to take down and store after each use but, the life expectancy would probably improve. It is still very comfortable and well worth the investment

Relaxation at its peak!
I purchased this hammock in early Spring to have a nice place to rest and relax outside. It is very nice, and my wife and I lie in it frequently and listen to the breeze and watch the ocean waves. It's comfortable, it's classy, and I love it. Assembly is easy. I would go insane without my hammock!
