Blue Ball
This replaced our old glass ball(s), two of which broke. This one seems much sturdier and the reflection is superb. It is heavier, and thus will not be overturned by the wind, like the others.
Hail proof!
I purchased this as a gift for my wife after she had lost several other glass gazing balls to hail. I was not to sure what to expect when I got it, but was very pleased since she loved it. It is nice and quite heavy duty. It is not solid steel so is light, but not fragile by any means. I don't think we will ever buy another glass gazing ball ever again, and highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys this type of decor in their garden or yard.
Fun Item
I live in Amarillo, Texas---a very windy city. So, owning a stainless steel gazing globe was ideal. I don't have to fuss over it or baby it the way I'd have to do a glass gazing globe. It's really beautiful to look at, too...
