Beautiful, Leakprooof, Effective
This feeder is absolutely gorgeous and can fit into almost any landscape -- cottage, formal, modern. Put it in a sunny spot for best effect -- looks great hanging above green foliage and the birds love it. Unlike feeders with plastic bottoms that expand on hot days and leak, there's no way this one will drip sugar water. So far, I haven't had any trouble with ants here in the tropics.

It has to be filled fairly high with sugar water -- I use 2 cups. It helps to add red food coloring at first to attract the birds but, once they find it, the colorant is no longer needed. Once filled, the feeder is rather heavy and stable on all but the windiest days.

The only weak product feature is the included S-hook. It seems to be made of a mild steel and mine started to corrode within a week. Rather than lose the feeder to gravity, I plan to replace it with an aluminum or stainless hook.
