Don't buy this.
I bought one of these and was extremely disappointed with it. First, it comes with an AC adapter, which only operates the lights and projector, not the clock. The clock itself still requires 2 AA batteries, which last less than 24 hours in this battery hog.

Great Projection Clock
Atomic LCD Projection Clock

This looks like a cheesy little clock but, its awesome. It projects in several colors so you can pick which one you like. The projection is extremely clear. We love it & so did our boys. So, now they have one as well. I would definitely recommend this & you can't beat the price.

A great clock so far
The clock is made by Hideki Electronics of Japan for Honeywell. My clock acquired the atomic time broadcast after a few minutes (be sure to leave the clock alone while it does this; don't play with the buttons). Each night between 1 and 4 am, the clock reacquires the signal and checks the time. The lighting of the clock itself as well as the projection are very good. You can choose a specific color or let it cycle through. You can also leave the display/projection dark (and activated by button). I have had no problems with the batteries. I picked up my clock at Costco. It was a very good deal.
