Amazon.com Product Description
Fire up this grill with the push of a button, and load up its burly cooking grates with food for the whole crowd. With gourmet-savvy features for juicy flavor and tenderness, the Summit grill from Weber is the best way to take backyard grilling to the next level. The Summit features a sturdy, enclosed cart with stainless steel doors and chrome plated cast aluminum handles. An accent-colored painted steel frame and stainless steel shroud with polished handle and trim dress up any outdoor dining venue and are easy to clean.

The cooking system, rated at 60,000 Btu's, includes 4 stainless steel burners and Weber's Snap-Jet individual-burner ignition system. The cooking grates are equipped with stainless steel, 9-1/2-millimeter rods for easy cleaning and optimal durability. Weber's stainless steel Flavorizer bars eliminate grease-fueled flare-ups that often occur with standard lava rocks and ceramic briquettes. Fats and juices are vaporized when they hit the angled bars and quickly sizzle away, adding delicious, smoky barbecue flavor rather than cauterizing flames. The primary cooking area measures 769 square inches. The handy warming rack area measures 145 square inches for a total cooking area of 624 square inches. The grill also has a 12,000-Btu input flush-mount side burner that lets you prepare sauces and side dishes right on the grill. And, a 10,600-Btu dedicated sear burner is great for glazing roast, ham, poultry, and more.

Other features include a center-mounted thermometer, 2 stainless steel work surfaces, Weber's Grill-Out handle light, 6 tool holders, an enclosed cart and a precision fuel gauge, a spit fork rotisserie attachment with heavy-duty motor. Two heavy duty front locking casters and 2 heavy-duty back swivel casters ensure easy transport and safety. The purchase includes a Weber cookbook and is covered by a Weber limited warranty.

King Crouton of grills5
This is one solid grill. The panels, grates, double walled cabinet doors, side shelves all are robust in materials and design. The assembly was minimal, I had it together in 15 minutes. At first I thought the handle lamps and lighted panel were gimmick, but actually are very functional. At 70K BTU, this grill packs a mean punch. It zoomed up to 700'F in less than 10min, so cleaning this afterwards is a breeze. My first use were two 2lb chickens on the rotisserie; the S-670 performed gallantly. If I were to pick a weak spot, it would be the caster wheels; they are a bit on the light-duty side especially when compared with the rest of the grill. I suggest registering warranty by phone, the customer service rep will share with you use and care instructions not as obvious in the manual.

Great Grill!4
This is the best Grill on the market. Easy clean up, great searing burner and you really look like you know what your doing when your grilling...lol The only negatives are the wheels and the smoker burner. The wheels are to small for such a heavy grill. The smoke taste does not get into the food due to the lack of some kind of venting system. I was really hoping the smoker burner was going to work out. Otherwise for grilling, indirect cooking and searing, this is the best. Also Weber customer service and support are the best.

Worth every penny!5
We LOVE this grill!! Our old grill needed to be retired, and we researched what we really wanted in a grill. The reviews for this grill were outstanding (rated 2nd in the $1,500 - $4,000 range) but thankfully at the lower end of that price range. And of course we've never heard anyone who has a Weber say anything negative about it, so we really did look at this as a 10-15 year investment on a grill.

Overall grilling: NO uneven cooking! You can cook on every inch of the grill with the same results. (We watched a video where a guy cooked 35 pork chops..I wasn't sure they would all fit, let alone cook evenly) Unless you are feeding an army, this grill is big enough to cook everything.

Searing burning: this was the only difference between teh S-670 and the S-570, and it was worth it to us to have it. My husband LOVES seared but rare steaks, and he can finally have them. He sears all of steaks to seal in the juices (mine just cooks a bit longer so it's no longer mooing)

Smoker box: We just tried this out last night and are really really impressed! You can slow smoke like the big professional smoke boxes or increase the heat as needed for timing. We made baby back ribs and we aren't sure if we had an exception rack, or if it was the grill (or my DH argues the cook) but they were the best we've ever had.

Not inexpensive...but if you are looking for a higher end grill, skip the $4,000 grill and go with the Weber S-670

Nice extras: propane gauge to indicate level, lights, & side burner. None of those are reasons to get this grill, but they are nice extras. And I do like the pretty sear/grill marks this gives..just like at a restuarant.

Note: This grill is HEAVY and requires 2-3 to move it when delivered.

We ordered through Amazon through Uncle Joe's and had phenomenal service. In addition to the best price, the speed of delivery was astonishing. We ordered Friday night, had confirmation of our order Saturday, and received the grill on Tuesday.
