Zipper pull broke off immediately
I just purchased this item. When I went to place it over our offset patio umbrella, you unzip it to open it up, place it over the umbrella then pull the zipper down to close it up -- the zipper pull came off on the way down without any forcing.
Looks like a quality issue. We will be requesting a replacement or refund.
Its almost good
Cover is fine, it's takes a ladder to put it on, but once on it's fine. It does, however, have an unpleasant odor, almost like garbage. Hope this wears off over the summer.
Large Enough but Questionable Durability
We bought one of these a year ago for a new offset umbrella. It was large enough at the top, which is an issue we've had with other offset covers. The umbrella is tall, so removing it often required getting a chair to stand on, but that wasn't too bad. An external rod would sure help.
My biggest complaint is the fabric isn't very durable. In particular, this cover is very long, so the bottom rests on the surface of your base (or whatever is below your umbrella). In our case we have some paving stones anchoring the base of the umbrella. The wind blows the cover, which is somewhat loose, so the bottom became worn and frayed, causing the entire cover to eventually rip. It lasted about a year. We're now searching for a replacement.
