Best Shower Radio4
Pros: Reception, Features, all digital, looks, build like a tank.
Cons: Price.

I picked this up to replace a piece of junk Curtis shower radio I bought my wife from Best Buy. She was so dissapointed in the Curtis because no stations would come in on its analog tuner.
The Sony was everything the cheaper Curtis wasn't. It is fully digital including the tuner. It has an external antenna and the reception is great. It sounds great for a littler radio with a even a bit of bass. The auto off feature will let you turn this thing on first thing in the morning and not worry about draining the batteries by leaving it on all day. Aditionally, it comes with a rope strap that will let you hang it from about anything. It is a bit on the heavy side because it is built solid as a rock.
The final word is I am super pleased with this little radio. My only gripe is the price: ... ouch. But if you believe that you get what you pay for...

Just perfect!5
After researching, looking at, and buying (then returning) several compact CD/Radio combos (I wanted it to go from kitchen to bathroom, but didn't have room for a boombox) I can finally rest. The Sony Liv Shower Radio is small, easily carried around with its attached handle, and has great sound--no distortion as volume is increased, and no background fuzziness. The one quibble, which I only noticed in the store as I compared it to the matching new Sony Dream Machine CD player, is that the Dream Machine gets much louder and still maintains the integrity of sound--but you have to plug it in, so you aren't going to be carrying it anywhere. That being said, mine is in the kitchen right now on a low-to-middle volume setting, and I can hear it out here in the living room--so it's loud enough, for sure. Love it!

Works great except for one (annoying) quirk4
I loved this shower CD player/clock radio. It worked perfectly for the first 4 months I had it. It even got good radio reception in my shower and had highly respectable sound quality for a shower CD player/clock radio.

And then --> now, if the top of it gets a little wet (as it usually does, being in a shower), it won't turn off. So, I just turn down the volume and it turns off by itself in 30 minutes or more. Unfortunately, this "quirk" runs down the batteries pretty quickly.

I am not sure if this quirk has happened to other people, but it certainly has happened to me.
