Customer Reviews
Nice change
Normally I like the "black" fragrances - tending toward the fragrance notes they seem to include. This is an old fragrance - I used to sell it for commission when I was working way through school back in the dark ages of the early 70s. I never used it, though. Stronger than the "black" fragrances I've been using, it seems to last through the day - especially used on the chest rather than on the neck. Have gotten a few nice compliments and no negative ones.
Simple, Clean, Masculine
I have been using Aramis for years. After hop-scotching from fragrance to fragrance, I stopped and realized that I was most happy with this classic cologne. Many of the current men's fragrances are so flowery and sweet that they could practically be worn by women as perfume. However, this is an unmistakenly masculine scent that is simple and does not need to be the "scent du jour".
One previous reviewer wrote about women practically flailing themselves at him for wearing Aramis in the office. Well, I have not had that type of experience, and I've been wearing it for years. My guess is that it is more than just the cologne that is causing the reaction.
In any event, if you want to smell confidently masculine, Aramis is the one.
A classic that will always be a classic.
I have been using Aramis for a very long time, started in the 1970's. Aramis is a very masculine scent with good staying power. I've never had anyone say that they don't like it. I'd recommend it to men of any age. My father uses it, I uses it, and both my sons have used it. It is just good stuff!
