Customer Reviews

great portable idea4
I've been a Gillette user for years. I still like their Fusion razors. However, this nifty little device is great for the road. It does a decent job of shaving...well..better than decent. But the selling point is the fact that you have a good trimmer AND a razor in one portable unit. I bought this while I was on the road and realized I don't have to carry a trimmer and a shaver anymore. The fact that the trimmer uses a regular AA battery makes it even more convenient. I wonder why Gillette hasn't thought of this.

GOOD RAZOR but NOT FOR ME3
This razor works well for straight shaving. I guess for the price and all those blades it should. I have a cleff chin, and the 4 blades don't do well there. I got this razor for free from a promotion Schick had on the Internet. Makes you wonder why they would do something like that, unless there was an alterior motive there. It reminds me of when I got my first All In One Printer for under $90. It was hard for me to believe they could sell it for that price. That was until I went to buy my first ink cartages, somewhat simuler to the blades they are selling. I doubt that I would pay full price for this and than overpay for blades later. I bought a bonus 15 pack of Schick ST2 Slim Twin throw away razor's at Wal-Mart for under $7, and they work just fine for me. Using them both side by side, I actually prefer the Slim Twin. True the Quattro Titanium blades last longer, but for the difference in price I'm still way ahead with the Slim Twin. The electric trimmer works fine for sideburns, but it's to wide for nose hair. It did not work well on my moustache either. There are much better alternatives out there for trimming beards and moustaches. True they do not have a razor attached, which is probably a good thing.
This is a nice looking trimmer and appears to be a well made product. But feel's overly large and heavy for shaving.

Very cool product4
I use both a Gilette Fusion and regular Schick Quattro, and got the Schick Trimmer for free during a store promo. I think the shave is fine, and the trimmer is surprisingly good quality. The design is also one of the coolest & most innovative things I've seen in a while. I don't use a trimmer regularly, but happened to need it lately and it works just as well as more expensive trimmers I've used, and they are not waterproof.
