Amazon.com Review
Blessed with large, easy-to-read markings, the five measuring spoons in this set make any cook's work easier. They're permanently secured by a solid ring, are sturdily made of thick, red plastic, and are dishwasher-safe. The spoons accurately measure 1/4-teaspoon, 1/2-teaspoon, 1-teaspoon, 1/2-tablespoon, and 1-tablespoon amounts. Their handles are slightly curved, making it easier to obtain level measurements in the proper wrist position. KitchenAid says the first year of the spoons' lifetime warranty against defects is hassle-free; the company will ship a replacement at no cost and without question if a defect is detected. --Fred Brack

For Good Measure
These little guys are colorful, with good design and easily read markings: a cheerful addition to the various joys of cooking. (In fact, Kitchen Aid has a rather suave line of such paraphrenalia that certainly bears exploration.)
Should the day ever come when these measuring spoons are eaten up by some rogue ferret, I will go straight back to Amazon.com and order another set.
This are not the same spoons you can buy for $2.99 at Target
They are much thicker plastic (they are the professional series).
The ones at target and Walmart are the much cheaper Culinary series.
great spoons, ...price excessive?
I love Kitchen Aid products and I love red in the kitchen. These are very sturdy, and easy to use. I have Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer(red), and grinder (red), etc, so these coordinate well. The small ones are bulbous and hard to get into tinned square-box spices, but seem okay for many spice bottles and for poured ingredients. If price is important to you, you may get the same Kitchen Aid Measuring Spoon set for only $2.99 at Target stores.
